The Struggle for Food

Gaza's population relies on humanitarian aid for their survival.

Very little humanitarian aid is permitted to enter Gaza. As a result, Palestinian's are forced to pay merchants exorbitant prices for the little aid that does enter. Food remains out of reach for most people as there are few opportunities to earn a livelihood in Gaza.

Operation Realife is able to acquire food by coordinating with the few local farmers that grow food, merchants, and other NGOs to disperse food to Gaza's starving population.

Our Impact

Operation Realife has collected 17,000+ donations in our first nine months of operating to help support the people of Gaza.

Operation Realife serves as a bridge between every day people and those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We are committed to providing both immediate and long-term support to Palestinians.

Our mission is one that connects people from all parts of the world. As proof of that, we have received donations from more than 96 countries. We are honored that our mission is one that unites people in support of Palestine.

Water Crisis in Gaza

There is not a single Palestinian in Gaza that has access to a reliable source of water. Gazans will walk anywhere between half a mile to six miles a day on average to collect anywhere between two to nine liters of water.

Operation Realife relies on the remaining water infrastructure in Gaza and trucks clean water into communities. The fuel to pump the water at wells and desalination plants is costly due to the blockade of fuel on the Gaza Strip. With your donations, we front these costs and distribute water to communities in the most dire need.
